Alpaca wool has the characteristics of being waterproof and maintaining the body heat at a healthy temperature by allowing excess heat out but maintaining enough warmth in. Our team at MINGA partners with a small team of knitters to create our knitwear. These highly-skilled women knitters work from their homes scattered around the mountains of Imbabura, Ecuador.
